Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences (KUSMS) is a constituent school of Kathmandu University, established in 2001 in Dhulikhel, Kavrepalanchok district. It was created through collaboration between Kathmandu University and Dhulikhel Hospital, which serves as the main teaching hospital. KUSMS offers MBBS, B.Sc. Laboratory Medicine, and postgraduate programs. The campus has a basic science building at Chaukot-Panauti and the university hospital at Dhulikhel, 3 km apart. Recognized by WHO and NMC India, KUSMS graduates have excelled globally. It follows a problem-based learning curriculum with community-oriented medical education.
