College of Medical Sciences (COMS) was the first private medical college in Nepal to receive Letter of Intent in 1993 and enrolled its first MBBS batch in 1996. It is a center of excellence affiliated with Kathmandu University, recognized by Nepal Medical Council, Sri Lanka Medical Council, the General Medical Council of Great Britain (UK), and listed in WHO's World Directory of Medical Schools and FAIMER.
