Bharat Cancer Hospital & Research Institute (BCHRI) was established in 2009 with the mission of providing comprehensive and affordable cancer care to patients across South Gujarat. The hospital operates on a not-for-profit basis and was among the first dedicated cancer centres in the region to offer surgical oncology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology under one roof. It is attached to the Nirali Memorial Radiation Centre and is equipped with advanced technologies such as PET-CT, TomoTherapy, Linear Accelerator (LINAC), Brachytherapy, digital radiology, endoscopy, pathology laboratories, intensive care units, and modern operation theatres. The hospital provides specialized treatment for breast, head and neck, gastrointestinal, gynaecological, lung, urological, paediatric, and blood cancers, along with pain management, palliative care, physiotherapy, nutritional counselling, and cancer screening services. Through its experienced oncology team, modern infrastructure, and patient-centric approach, Bharat Cancer Hospital has become a major referral centre for advanced cancer treatment, research, and supportive care in Gujarat.
