Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) is the first government medical college in Arunachal Pradesh. Established in 2017, it was created to improve medical education and provide advanced healthcare services in the state. The institute is named after Tomo Riba, the second Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. TRIHMS has a modern multi-specialty teaching hospital with approximately 500 beds, offering undergraduate (MBBS), postgraduate, nursing, and other healthcare programs. It serves as a major tertiary healthcare center for the people of Arunachal Pradesh and neighboring regions, combining quality patient care, medical education, and research.
